Elmer and the Race

Join Elmer and his friend Wilbur in "Elmer and the Race," a delightful children's book by David McKee, published by Andersen Press Ltd in 2016. In this vibrant tale, young elephants are eager to determine who is the fastest among them, leading Elmer and Wilbur to organize an exciting race. As the colorful racers dash around the course, they not only compete but also learn valuable lessons about themselves and each other. While Blue may take the lead and Orange follows closely behind, the story reveals that true character shines brighter than speed—White is kind, Pink and Violet bring laughter, and Yellow, well, he’s a cheat! With 32 pages of engaging illustrations and heartwarming lessons, this book is perfect for young readers exploring themes of friendship, honesty, and self-discovery. Ideal for ages 3-7, "Elmer and the Race" is a must-have addition to any child's library.
