Mobility, Migration and the Chinese Scientific Research System

This book examines the transformation of the Chinese scientific research system combining macro-level institutional and statistical analyses with an account of how the research culture has changed. Special emphasis is given to the role of overseas Chinese scientists and returnees in the transformation of this system.
